I'm curious, do you folks have grocery shopping memories from your youth? Kindly baggers? Things you always looked forward to? Hating having to go with mom? Getting busted for stealing? C'mon, share them below. C'mon...

I must have gone shopping with my mom a lot. The memories are a little dim, though. There would have been no treats, no candy, no sugary cereal, etc. There would have been a detailed list.
I always wanted to stand on the end of the cart and be wheeled around. This was frowned on.
I vaguely remember lots of very neatly clipped coupons, in a special wallet-like thing of their own.
Honestly? The nice ladies at the cheese/deli meat counter giving me tastes of stuff is probably the nicest memory. There would have been no treats, no candy, no sugary cereal, etc. There would have been a detailed list.
